About the Center

Center for Strategic Management and Globalization currently comprises 12 employees, of which nine have professorial, associate, or assistant professorial standing. Additionally, associated with the Center is a large and active research community from CBS. The Center functions as CBS’ forum for discussion and coordination of research contributions within strategic management and international business.

The Center has furthermore a number of international contacts, among these the Academic Advisory Board, including prominent researchers from the scientific field of the Center.

Even though our aim is research published in the best journals, we also wish to contribute useful research for the dialog with business practice. Therefore, we have established a Business Advisory Board and host Business Seminars regularly.

Advisory Board

The Center’s strategy:

  • The Center’s researchers should publish in the best international journals
  • The Center will aim to recruit leading international researchers
  • The Center will set the agenda for relevant research by organizing seminars, workshops and conferences
  • The Center will attract the best PhD students within the relevant area, among other things by offering PhD courses and participating in international collaboration
  • The Center should be an active partner in business cooperation and a prominent mediator in the Danish business and social debate
  • The Center will obtain considerable external funding for research activities, both from public as well as private sources.
