The members of ARC contribute with research and educational inputs on Asia to various teaching programmes at CBS. They also offer Asia-related electives open to all CBS all students, as well as to exchange and guest students at CBS.
The education concerning Asia at CBS is for the most part conducted within the Asian Studies Programme (ASP). Currently it consists of an undergraduate programme with two tracks, one with a focus on Japan and the other with a focus on China. A track on India is in the planning process. At ASP culture and language studies are combined with economics, sociology, communication and business studies, as well as project work. The quality of teaching and the development of the study programme receive a significant boost from the research activities that take place at ARC.
