Non-EU and non-EEA students are required to pay tuition fee when studying in Denmark. EU and EEA citizens are NOT to pay tuition fee when studying in Denmark.

Exemption:
You may be exempted from paying tuition fee, if you have one of the following two residence permits in Denmark:
Depending on the exact wording, other residence permits may grant you an exemption. Also, specific residence permits in the other Nordic countries may grant you an exemption, for instance, the "PUT" in Sweden. Nevertheless, having a student visa does not under any circumstances exempt you from paying tuition fee. Please contact the Admissions Office for further information.
If you have one of the above residence permits, it is very important that you send documentation to prove it to the Admissions Office. We accept the following documentation:
Based on the documentation given, the Admissions Office will grant (or deny) you an exemption. If you are exempted from paying tuition fee, you are to meet the deadlines applying to EU/EEA applicants. Please note that you may still be required to pay an application fee.
We plan to send out Quota 2 confirmation letter after Easter. If you have applied in Quota 2 and you haven't received a confirmation letter by 1 May, you should contact us.
All admission at higher education in Denmark is coordinated by "Den Koordinerede Tilmelding (KOT) at optagelse.dk". Here you will find application forms, priority form and guidelines .
We send out answers, by ordinary post, on the 29 July. If you live in Denmark, you should have your answer by 30 July; remember that we send the answer to your official address ("Folkeregisteradresse") - please make sure that your name is on the door.
