Elite MSc Programmes

Only 12 master’s programmes in Denmark have been accredited as elite programmes. CBS offers two of them, one of which is offered in partnership with the University of Copenhagen. The programmes are completely new and will begin student enrolment in 2009.

The programmes are two years full-time master’s programmes taught in English, but the elite label ensures that they are level with the best programmes in the world. From an academic perspective, the programmes are more challenging and demanding than regular master’s programmes. Therefore only the most qualified Danish and foreign bachelors within the social sciences field are eligible for admission. The annual intake is only 20-25 students on each programme. Selection among qualified applicants is typically based on a bachelor GPA at the high end of the grading scale, a motivational essay and a personal interview.

CBS offers two Elite MSc Programmes - one in cooperation with the University of Copenhagen:

Graduates will receive a diploma, which states that the programme has been completed as an elite master’s programme.

3 elite diplomas
Besides the two elite programmes, CBS also offers three intense and challenging courses, the elite diplomas, which only accept a maximum of 25 students on each course and gives the student the posibility of obtaining both analytical and pratical skills. The three diplomas are electives that can be applied for during the 3rd semester of the graduate programme and the enrolment is based on the basis of individual assessments of applications.

  • Internship in International Entrepreneurship
  • IT-excellence elite module
