My PhD thesis was on China’s policymaking towards regional economic cooperation, including free trade agreements and East Asian financial cooperation. My general research interest includes international political economy, foreign economic policymaking, regionalism, China and Asia. Apart from book chapters, I have published in the Journal of Contemporary China and the Australian Journal of International Affairs. I’m currently studying China’s overseas investment, and my future research plans include China-EU relations and the trade of Chinese or East Asian art amongst other topics.
