Unfortunately CBS has no scholarships to offer to exchange students.

Below you will find information about the grants and scholarship programs that CIRIUS administers or provides information about. For further information please therefore go to www.ciriusonline.dk . CIRIUS is the Danish Centre for International Cooperation and Mobility in Education and Training.

Please read the guidelines on procedures and conditions for applying carefully. In many cases application should be made through the relevant national authority in your home country or your home institution. You should also be aware that the scholarships for studying in Denmark are not granted for full degree programs, but only for a limited study period.

Scholarships and Grants - Exchange/Freemover students
The possibilities as an exchange/freemover student depend on the student's home institution and the exchange agreement:

  • Students, who are studying in a European country participating in the Socrates/Erasmus and Leonardo da Vinci programs may apply for special exchange and mobility grants at the institution in the home country.
  • Nordic students may apply for grants via Nordplus - see link below.
  • Students, who are studying in countries outside the EU, should seek information about grants and scholarships at the educational institution in the home country
  • Students and researchers from countries that have a bilateral agreement with Denmark can apply for a number of Danish governmental scholarships (See link to CIRIUS below). There may be other opportunities for grants and scholarships either from the student's home country or from private and international scholarship schemes. Students from the EU as well as outside the EU can find links to several scholarship programs at the EU-database Ploteus (See link below). PhD-students and researchers are advised to look at The Researcher's Mobility Portal (See link below).
