You will be able to find answers to most of your questions by consulting:
- When do the semesters begin?
The autumn semester generally begins at the end of August every year and the spring semester begins in the middle or end of January. You can also see the entire calendar by clicking on the Academic Calendar link in the left menu. - Do I need to apply for a residence permit for Denmark?
Apart from citizens from the Nordic countries, everyone staying in Denmark for more than three months needs to have a residence permit.
----- EU nationals: Students from the Nordic countries do not need a residence permit. EU nationals and citizens from Liechtenstein must obtain their permit upon arrival in Denmark.
----- Non-EU nationals: Students must apply for residence permit at the Danish Embassy or Danish Consulate General in their home country. In certain countries there is no Danish representation, so another Schengen country will handle visa applications on behalf of Denmark. - How do I apply for a residence permit if I am a Non-EU citizen?
Please read the "Applying for a Resident Permit for Denmark" included in your registration package. - Who should I contact if I have questions regarding my residence permit?
You can write to Lotte Vesterlund Frandsen, International Program Coordinator, CBS International, lvf.io@cbs.dk. - What should I return to CBS?
