Declarations of contents
Copenhagen Business School implemented its first website in 1995. Ever since that time, the web secretariat has been part of the library, which hosts CBS' web activities. The current web design was developed in 2006/2007 and opened 6 March, 2007.
Information on the CBS-Web is updated by the respective units, usually coordinated by a local web editor. Each page includes an indication of who is 'responsible for information'.
Employees and students may find all internal information on the CBS' intranet and student' intranet, including self-services.
Bilingualism
All general information on the website is available in both Danish and English. In cases where the sender deems it relevant, a translation of the service in question may consist only of a short description. In cases where the target group is only, or primarily, international, CBS reserves the right only to publish the pages in English.
Updating policy
CBS aims to ensure that all service information on the homepage is current and updated, so users are able, at all times, to find the correct information. Some information may be of a historic or documentary character and will not be updated on a regular basis.
Design
The CBS-Web has been organised by the web secretariat reporting to the Library Director. Graphic planning: Komputer.nu

Technology
The CBS web secretariat uses a Norwegian content management system, EzPublish
, to run the website. The system is an open source system.
Browser standards
All browsers that conform to The World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C)
standards are able to download information from the CBS-Web, including MS Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 1.5+, Safari and Netscape 7.2
www.cbs.dk follows XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
Screen size
A resolution of 1280 x 1024 is recommended at offering the best presentation of the pages. The minimum acceptable screen size is 1024 x 768.
Printing
All pages on the CBS-Web are printer-friendly through the browser print facility or the print icon in the centre. By using the print icon you print the current central page, whereas the browser print icon prints the entire web page.
Navigate the CBS-Web
Basic navigation is done via the top menu (the 'global menu'), which is attached to all pages. Most top menu items contain a 'regional menu' of one or more items supplemented by left-hand menus.
Use the search function or the sitemap, if you are unable to find what you are looking for.
Disabled users
The website can be read by screen readers.
